Visiting a garden is one of the many ways you can support the National Garden Scheme in 2018, to help us raise more money for nursing charities. Through the coming months our gardens will have a number of spectacular highlights: tulips in April; peonies in May; roses in June; kitchen gardens in late-summer and autumn colour in October.
Here are some of our other events for your diary:
15th March – 28th August: Our annual photography competition. Calling all amateur photographers and garden enthusiasts! We are running our second annual photography competition in association with BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, to find out more click here.
2 – 3 June: Annual Festival Weekend: our busiest weekend of the year with more than 300 gardens open through England and Wales.
August: Gardens and Health Week. During August we will be celebrating our second annual Gardens and Health Week. Look out for further information on our website and how you can get involved.
7 November: Annual Lecture at the Royal Geographical Society. Join us for a talk by Lord Heseltine. Tickets go on sale in August on our website.
