17 Norman Road

Faversham

Once in this garden you become quite unaware of the world without. A large apple tree provides dappled shade, wisteria and clematis clothe its walls. It is a garden which has been designed to offer new delights as you pass through it. Leaving behind the kitchen garden you come to a raised pond, teaming with frogs in the Spring, and an exquisite small round brick-edged pond. Just discernible behind the pond is a seating area & beyond that, behind the apple tree, a garden shed. An obelisk wreathed in clematis hides the greenhouse in the far corner. Throughout are interwoven perennials and shrubs. The feeling behind the creation of this garden is to continue outside the privacy of being inside.
