    The italian garden fronts the house and there is an enclosed yew hedge garden, an orchard of old variety fruit trees, a hornbeam avenue and kitchen garden. Also curving beds of perennials and shrubs. Stone walls with an archway leading to a rose covered wooden bower. There is also a wildflower meadow, ponds and some charming water features. In April there is an abundance of spring flowers. February masses of snowdrops.
