Boldshaves is a 7-acre garden surrounded by 100 acres of its own ancient woodland, and has been almost entirely created by the owners during the past 25 years in sympathy with the Arts & Crafts period house whose architect, Robert Marchant, was Sir Edwin Lutyens' first pupil. South-facing with impressive views of the Wealden landscape, the setting for the many varying parts of the garden is entirely peaceful, and the range of plants grown is significant.
