Blewbury Gardens

As celebrated by Rachel de Thame in Gardener's World, five gardens will open, in a charming downland village. Blewbury Manor with moat and 10 acre garden. Features incl a parterre, flower garden, herbaceous and mixed borders, pergola, vegetable and herb garden, stream planting, woodland, lake, sunken gravel garden, and courtyard. Brooks End a 1960s bungalow with colour themed beds, damp border, hidden garden, small orchard, shady border, greenhouse and vegetable garden. Green Bushes a garden created by plant lover Rhon Rogers over many years, around C15 cottage. The garden continues to be nurtured and developed by Phil with colour themed borders, ponds and poolside planting, ferns, pleached limes and roses. Hall Barn has 4 acres with traditional herbaceous borders, kitchen garden, croquet lawn, C16 dovecote, thatched cob wall and chalk stream. Stocks an early cruck-constructed thatched cottage, surrounded by densely planted lime tolerant herbaceous perennials offering tiers of colour yr-round.

Sunday 17 June (2 - 6pm). Combined admission £5.00, children free. Home-made teas at Blewbury Manor, all proceeds to the NGS.
