    Hidden Valley Gardens is often referred to as a “Hidden Treat”. It was created with the aim of becoming a garden and wildlife haven, together with a specialist plant nursery and fruit production, and has been planted to provide extensive colour and interest throughout the season; from March to October, featuring herbaceous borders, cottage garden planting, a number of plant collections, and a wildlife pond. The plantings “come into their own” from early spring to autumn, with beds dedicated to a wide variety of plants. There are also unusual and traditional perennials for sale. It is a place of beauty and tranquillity, high horticultural interest and knowledge sharing. More information is available on www.hiddenvalleygardens.co.uk.

Open from 10 to 6, Thurs to Mon, 20 March to 15 Oct. Entry £5 incl complimentary tea/coffee. Children free. See website for special snowdrops opening in Feb. Tricia has a collection of some 80+ named snowdrops as well as hellebores and early flowering daffodils.
