The wonderful gardens at Braxted Park will be open on Monday 12th June for the National Garden Scheme with Horatio’s Garden designer and our former Chairman, Joe Swift. Joe is giving two talks during the day, sharing his thoughtful insights into designing a Chelsea garden.

Tickets are £10 and must be purchased in advance. Booking is simple on the Horatio’s Garden website: www.horatiosgarden.org.uk/Braxted or ring 07429 140918.

Braxted Park, Grade II* park of “exceptional significance” is again opening its gardens for the National Garden Scheme which last year resulted in a record breaking weekday attendance.  Meander around the parkland’s ponds, lakes and walled gardens. Experience the execution of the 10 year Parkland Restoration Management Plan. Enter walled garden ‘rooms’ through long Wisteria broad walk and admire Mulberry parasol trees, unique to Braxted. The Head Gardener will be on hand to show you round and answer questions. There will also be information and presentations regarding the ‘Horatio’s Garden’ charity.
