Previously opened for NGS from 1928-30 and now beautifully restored by present owners (re-opened in 2010). 12 acre garden and formal landscaped grounds in parkland setting and Grade II*, C17 house, former residence of the late HRH Princess Mary, daughter of George V and Queen Mary. Gertrude Jekyll inspired replanted 120ft double herbaceous borders and rose garden.
Quarter-mile Lime Tree Walk planted by royalty in the 1920s, orchard, redesigned kitchen garden and a flower border featuring 'Yorkshire Princess' rose, named after Princess Mary.

This garden also makes a donation to St Mary's Church.
