The Gardeners Lodge

Telford

There was just one tree in the garden when the current owners purchased The Gardener's Lodge, the ground having been cleared, ready to sell as a building plot. The garden is dedicated to the memory of Amanda's daughter, Harriet, who died of cancer in 2016, aged 31.
Inspired by Harriet's writing and images of the places she had visited, Amanda decided to develop her garden as a testiment to her daughter's life

The garden has given Amanda, and her family, much solace since their loss, allowing them to continue to celebrate her life and times together and, now too, with enthusiastic visitors.

The focal point of the patio, nearest the Lodge, is a beautiful, ancient olive tree. A gift in memory of Harriet from Amanda's work friends and colleagues.

Gardens, in working and, of course, in viewing , can have a most theraputic and peaceful effect. Amanda hopes that you will not only leave feeling inspired and motivated but relaxed and calm too.
