    Sages lies within the South Downs National Park. Originally the garden formed part of Basing Park’s arboretum and is set in a wonderful location with beautiful views.

    You can relax in the charming courtyard garden and listen to the gentle running water in the raised pond which is surrounded by pots of lilies and white hydrangeas cascading over tiered flint walls, or you can amble up to the main 2½ acre garden.

    Over the last three years the garden has undergone a great transformation by the owners themselves. The garden has a romantic feel where you can take a stroll through the meadow or peacefully ponder in the Japanese garden.There is also a surprising jungle walk being developed. Enjoy colour schemed roses, perennial borders and a beloved glasshouse housing a collection of rare orchids and tropical plants. This garden will leave you feeling happy and with a sense of well being.

    Refreshments include teas, cakes, wine on request.
