Repton NGS Village Gardens

Repton is a thriving village dating back to Anglo Saxon times and was where Christianity was first preached in the Midlands. In the crypt of the church there are still well preserved remains of Saxon architecture. The village gardens are all quite different ranging from the very small to very large several of them have new features for 2017. Askew cottage is a professionally designed garden and has many structural features linked together by curving paths. 10 Chestnut Way is a plantoholic's garden often likened to a tardis - be prepared to be surprised. Holme Point is an exquisitely designed small garden, formal beds are overflowing with perennial plants, 22 Pinfold Close is the smallest garden but is packed full with a special interest in tropical plants. Repton allotments is a small set of allotments currently undergoing a revival, with attractive views across Derbyshire. Woodend Cottage is an organic garden with stunning views from the grass labyrinth.
