Gorsty House

A renovation, started late in 2014, of a neglected garden. 2.25 acres, an acre of which is wildflower meadow. We are planting to attract wildlife, with wooded and shady areas, herbaceous borders with abundant cottage garden planting, new orchard, wildlife pond, and a secret garden, planted to encourage pollinators. Beautiful views to Long Mynd.

Please note: when booking By Arrangement visits the meadow is cut late July/August.

Visitors welcome by arrangement April to September. Please ring to discuss visits. Groups 10+. Admission £3.00, children free. Home-made teas.

This garden opens as part of Hyssington Gardens on Saturday 26, Sunday 27 May, Saturday 16, Sunday 17 June.
