The excellent Secret Craft Fair held during the open gardens weekend provides additional delight and surprises for visitors. The garden is full of attractive features and planting. Hedges, shrubs, climbers and a lovely Victorian brick wall form the structure of the garden. A bench surrounded by lilies, raised staging for herbs, sempervivums and alpines. The lawn is flanked with deeply curving gracefully planted beds of perennials, growing through and supported by hand-made structures and frames. This leads to a shaded sitting area under the Bramley apple tree, raised vegetable beds and a potting area.
