More about Sculptors Garden, The Old Post Office

A courtyard garden on multiple levels with formal, structured planting; herbaceous borders and water features, subtly blending into an informal shaded, damp area with a variety of ferns, hostas, acers, bamboo and gunnera. There is also a small wooded area that leads to a brook and a small meadow area. Most importantly, this is a sculptors garden, which was created to form a back drop to the ever-changing sculptures created by both the garden owners, Angela and Martin Farquharson-Duffy. Angela and Martin exhibit their work throughout the UK, including the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The figurative sculpture displayed in the garden includes many life-sized sculptures. There will be a range of sculpture for sale on the NGS open day with 10% of any sales going to the NGS.
