More about Dinas Powys
Five gardens in this friendly village, all with something different to offer. Brookleigh is a large garden, many specimen trees, colourful herbaceous borders, plus a large pond and bog. Our community gardens consist of many small plots for Veg and flowers, absolutely overflowing with produce and with a lot of expertise to share. 32 Longmeadow Drive is a small suburban garden defined by distinctive areas, a lawn, a feature cherry plum tree surrounded by gravel and providing the shade for a small collection of hostas, a unique water feature, herbaceous borders with feature grasses planted to encourage bees and butterflies, plus gorgeous hanging baskets. 5 The Mount is a much loved garden with many lovey features, perennials, shrubs and roses, and Denys Close is a small garden, again much loved and meticulously cared for. There will be plants sales as usual, even though 1 Ashgrove is not opening for just this year.
