Walnut Cottage

One and a half acre garden with views of Bredon Hill, designed into rooms, many of which have been created using high formal hedging of beech, hornbeam, copper beech and yew. There is a small “front garden” with a circular gravel path, a well stocked original garden area with pond and arches to the side of the house, a magnolia garden with several species of the plant, a magnificent tree garden with specimen trees from around the world, many of which are quite uncommon, over 200 roses, some in colour themed beds, others climbing over a long pergola or up other trees, a greenhouse, raised Koi Carp pond and a metal stairway leading to a roof based viewing platform surrounded by more roses. The garden continues to evolve and a Japanese garden is next planned. Plenty of seating and interesting artefacts add to the appeal.
