A garden newly created 15 years ago, with a delightful blend of classic planting and contemporary styling. Beautiful formal double borders with a central canal pond, are situated alongside the cotswold stone farmhouse (not open). A long hornbeam hedge creates an axis within the garden with mixed herbaceous borders beyond. An extension of the hedge encloses an impressive stone monolith, which was installed as a focal point to be viewed from the house, A more naturalistic area at the end of the garden has been planted with trees and spring bulbs, which blends in perfectly with the surrounding landscape. Circular rose arches create an unusual framework for white climbing roses and delphiniums. There are also attractive cottage borders, a parterre and new prairie style borders surrounding a summerhouse. Beautiful views of stunning Cotswold Hills can be enjoyed from the many seating areas throughout the garden.
