23 New Brighton Road

Emsworth

Variously described as exuberant, chaotic, romantic and restful, this is a garden of surprises. The further you travel down the 250ft gently sloped plot, the more you will discover from ponds to garden rooms, art studio to library. A plantaholic's garden with a heavy emphasis on full shade plantings together with full sun.

An exuberantly planted 250ft narrow garden covering all aspects from full sun to full shade. There are plenty of ideas for plantings throughout from containers to flowerbeds. The garden also features a formal pond, a wildlife pond, a greenhouse, a shepherd's hut (used as a craft studio), and summerhouse / mini library. There is a variety of hard landscaping with ideas for all gardeners, whether their plot is small or large. Many unusual plants and a collection of Hostas and shade-loving plants. A plantaholic's garden which is rapidly running out of space. Also on show will be a display of old gardening tools, attractively displayed in front of the large workshop at the bottom of the garden. Plants will be for sale from both this garden and local gardens where the owner offers gardening advice. Home-made cakes and biscuits, including gluten-free, together with tea and cold drinks will be available to enjoy whilst sitting in one of the many 'resting' places within the garden.
