Cottage gardens, terracing, wild flower areas, a wild garden and specialist plants. Ideas for every type and size of garden. Visitors are welcome to picnic in the field or arboretum at Fairfield.     For 2018 Abbotskerswell Gardens offer eight gardens, with one new garden and several others having been resigned over the last two years. In addition the popular Allotments have 22 plots which have been nurtured over many years and show a wide range of skills and production methods. Some of the plots use raised beds, and there are both male and female gardeners, who have different methods and styles. .

    The different styles of the nine gardens offer something for every visitor, whether you look for inspiration for a small town garden, or the stimulus to redesign your large plot. Pretty Abbotskerswell is particularly known for the friendly welcome it gives all our visitors and many return year after year to see what we have done since last year - we never rest on our laurels! Plots display beautiful cottage garden planting, wide herbaceous borders, wild flower areas, specialist plants, dramatic terracing, and ever more new development areas incorporating excellent hard landscaping, pergolas and carefully thought through colour schemes. There is an arboretum, a woodland and bog garden, and a gravel garden, We welcome people to picnic in the field or arboretum at Fairfield if the weather is good.
