    The garden at the rear is still developing and has all been created in the C21. There are some interesting trees and shrubs, particularly Oaks and Willows with the collection being added to each year. Many have been chosen with autumn colour in mind. The rose collection contains some rarely seen varieties, in addition to the National Collection of Pemberton and Bentall's Hybrid Musks there are some no longer commercially available which are registered with Plant Heritage under the red label Plant Guardian scheme.
    Other features include analemmatic sundial, snail mound viewing platforms, distinctive paths and water feature inspired by the work of Charles Jencks.

Features and Attractions

Analemmatic Sundial, pond, meadow areas all with extensive views over Ribble Valley. Teas provided by St John's Church. Plant Heritage Plant Stall with unusual varieties for sale.
