The garden has been in the same ownership for the last 55 years giving lots of planting opportunities with trees and shrubs able to reach maturity. Recently 35 Poplar trees have been felled to reduce the heavy shade in parts of the wild flower meadow. The latest planting in the arboretum is a Chinese Wingnut tree ( Pterocarrya) Do come and see it.
Usually there are plants for sale and visiting nurseries. we are particularly proud of our Handkerchief tree which was illustrated in a double page spread in Eastern Daily Press.

The garden is best approached from the A148 opposite Sheringham Park entrance. There is a sign pointing to BYWAY TO WEST BECKHAM, go down there about 3/4 mile to the village sign and you have arrived. Your satnav will take you to the pub instead!
