8 Acres of Grade II landscaped organic gardens around a 15th century fortified manor (not open). This Edwardian garden consists of lawns, yew hedges, topiary, pleached beech hedging, and a laburnum tunnel which frames a 100m stretch of borders.

A large variety of plants and shrubs fill the 5000 square metres of beds and borders. There has been a keen interest on developing herbal and native plantings throughout the gardens.

To the west of the house, are the tiered Croquet and Mulberry lawns. Raising again above both of these is the Archery walk. Orchards, a vegetable garden and a megalithic circle extend beyond these and the rest of the formal gardens.

Wildflowers are encouraged along the entrance drive and a common that lays detached from the main garden provides a rich habitat for a diverse range of butterflies.
