Braxted Park Estate

At 12 noon, the celebrated garden designer, Tom Stuart-Smith will be giving an exclusive talk. Tickets for the talk must be purchased in advance and will support Horatio’s Garden charity. Braxted Park, Grade II* park of “exceptional significance” is again opening its gardens for the NGS which last year resulted in a record breaking weekday attendance. Meander around the parkland’s ponds, lakes and walled gardens. Experience the execution of the 10-year Parkland Restoration Management Plan. Enter walled garden ‘rooms’ through long Wisteria broad walk and admire Mulberry parasol trees, unique to Braxted.

Head Gardener will be on hand to show round and answer questions. There will also be information about Horatio’s Garden charity. Perennials on sale in aid of Horatio’s Garden.. Guide dogs only.

Tuesday 5 June (10am - 4pm). Admission £5.50, children free. Light refreshments in the Walled Garden Pavilion.
