More about Copyhold Hollow

Cottage garden in a hollow with woodland garden above. Spring fed pond with dam and waterfall edged with damp loving perennials including species primulas. The oak stumpery gives way to a rock garden on the way to the crow’s nest and the whole garden is planted for yr-round interest

The woodland garden is full of camellias, rhododendrons, bulbs, deciduous azaleas, primroses and native trees all watched over by the matriarchal beech in the centre of the garden. The cottage garden swirling around the 16th century cottage is fronted by 1,000 year old box hedge and enjoys a spring-fed pond to one side.
