Award-winning National Garden Scheme garden owner, Geoff Stonebanks, from Bishopstone in Sussex had a real shock last week.
Following the feature on Chris and Robin Hutt's magical Sussex garden at Fairlight End in the June edition of Gardens Illustrated, the production team for BBC Gardeners' World got in touch, wanting to film for the 2017 series.
National Gardens Scheme opener Geoff Stonebanks, from Seaford, has raised over £76,500 for charity in seven years by inviting the public to view his award winning gardens and encouraging others to open their gardens too.
A wonderful day was had by all at Windsor Castle as many received their honours from Her Majesty The Queen
The Bedfordshire NGS Team is thrilled that 2016 has been such a positive year.
The final 2016 event for The National Gardens Scheme in East & Mid Sussex took place earlier this month at Great Dixter House and Gardens with Fergus Garrett, to mark the 10th anniversary of Christopher Lloyd's death.
