Plants From Crocus Available From The NGS

The NGS has joined forces with highly regarded plant supplier Crocus to offer you a fabulous range of plants for your garden. The really fantastic news is that as a result of each order placed Crocus will be making a donation of 15% of the retail price excluding VAT of the plants that you purchase to the NGS.

Since they opened ten years ago, Crocus have gained a reputation for the quality and depth of their plant range, currently in excess of 4,000 varieties. To date they have won 11 gold medals for gardens they have created at the Chelsea Flower Show, and now supply plants to most of gardening’s ‘A’ list.

However, when they started their ambitions were much more modest. Speaking recently Peter Clay, co-founder of Crocus, said: ‘When I was trying to create my garden in Herefordshire, I found it very difficult to source the range of plants that I wanted. It seemed that the amateur gardener was denied the same choice as the professional. Crocus was our attempt to redress that bias.’

‘Like the NGS we want to open the garden gate as wide as possible. So we are delighted to be selling plants on their behalf and thereby adding to the amazing totals they donate each year to charity.’

So if you are looking to purchase plants to restock your garden you can now buy them from the NGS website knowing that they will be of fantastic quality and the team at Crocus will be providing excellent customer service to you. And at the same time you will be helping to raise money for the nursing, caring and gardening charities that the NGS supports.
