World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Coffee, cake and charity

Enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a slice of cake! Here at The National Gardens Scheme we enjoy having a cup of coffee and good slice of cake. So what better excuse is there to get the kettle on than the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28 September in aid of our charity partner of 27 years, Macmillan Cancer Support. We’re encouraging our supporters to take part too.

Whether it’s a garden party with neighbours, coffee morning at work or afternoon tea with friends, every World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event, no matter how small or large, will help Macmillan’s ambition to provide support to everyone affected by cancer.

A cup of coffee and a slice of cake really can make a huge difference. You can always add any used coffee filters and tea bags to your compost or encircle the base of plants with coffee grounds to repel pests such as slugs. Alternatively any left over coffee can be  watered down to act as a fast acting liquid fertilizer.

Through the highs and lows it's friendships that sustain us.

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning on 28 September is a chance to get together with the friends you cherish, while also raising money to ensure no one affected by cancer has to go through it alone.

Make time for what really matters.
