The members of the Golf Course Allotments and the National Gardens Scheme invite you to view prize-winning exhibits and tour the "BEST PLOTS" at the Autumn Show on Sunday 5th September.
The annual show which is set to be opened by the Mayor of Haringey, is very well supported with over 200 plotholders from all over the globe, growing a wide variety of vegetables and fruit.
Visitors will be able to buy freshly-picked produce, jams, pickles, plants, chutneys, books, bric-a-brac, raffle...and enjoy delicious home made teas, all in a beautiful rural setting.
There will also be a collection for old/broken/unwanted hand tools for the Tools Shed Project run by The Conservation Foundation. HMP Wandsworth workshops teach prisoners to rennovate the various tools and they are distributed to schools and community projects across London. In fact, they provided ALL the tools for the Eden Project Garden at Chelsea this year.
