In the final episode of A Little Piece of Paradise, Ruth Wignall and Bill Lee visit two gardens that have been specially designed to intoxicate the senses.
In Laugharne, Annie Hart has spent 16 years taming her three acre piece of land on the banks of the Taf estuary. The centre piece of Delacorse is a scented wall garden with a camomile lawn, which she has created out of a tumble down cow shed.
In Machynlleth, peace campaigner Diana Rhodes has spent the last 10 years setting up a nine acre peace garden and sculpture park. Despite suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and other health problems she has tirelessly worked to design the tranquil gardens which include seven sensory gardens.
