On the 12 July Norman Jeffery, County Organiser, presented John and Susan Beck of 25 Bowling Green Road, Cirencester with a gift from the NGS to mark the 30 years of opening their garden for the scheme. In thanking them Norman commented that John and Susan had shown remarkable enthusiasm for both the scheme and their garden through opening on several days each year. Over the years they have been successful in raising more that £22,000 for the NGS.
Their garden is a small but a packed mass of colour and includes clematis, roses and many perennials. However its real feature is the more than 400 varieties of Hemerocallis, (daylilies) which are a real delight for its many visitors.
