Beautiful Buckinghamshire

NEW for 2010! Buckinghamshire has a wealth of garden treasures on offer. Our first visit is to Lord Carrington’s extensive garden at Bledlow, with many delights, including a peony-filled walled garden, an acclaimed sculpture garden, and a beautiful wilderness area abutting the River Lyde, a tributary of The Thames. Famed children’s author, the late Roald Dahl’s garden is another and we will see the hut where he found his inspiration and sat to write his books.

The charmingly named Wind in the Willows, a watery three acre garden with two rivers meandering through it, evoking echoes of Ratty and Toad, makes up our third visit.
