As well as opening your garden or volunteering, there are other ways you can support the National Gardens Scheme.
Buy 'Gardens To Visit'
Gardens To Visit (formerly The Yellow Book) is the ideal way to find out when gardens are open across England and Wales, and is a fantastic buy as a gift or for yourself. Gardens To Visit is published every February, and you can purchase it online direct from us here, or call 01483 211 535. You can also find Gardens To Visit in most good bookshops.
Visit a garden
There are four easy ways to find out where and when gardens near you are open:
- By looking in the Gardens To Visit.
- By finding a quick reference County Booklet. These booklets list gardens open in your county, and are normally available from libraries, garden centres, tourist offices and bookshops.
- By downloading and using the NGS app.

Become a corporate supporter
We very much welcome support from companies. In return, the NGS can offer a range of benefits with a package suitable for you and your company.
Leave a gift in your will to the NGS
A legacy left to the National Gardens Scheme will enable us to continue opening gardens into the future, and more importantly to continue supporting nursing, caring and gardening charities. Please contact us for further details if you would like to leave a gift in your will.
