Help The Hospice
THE CONTRIBUTION ENSURES THAT
HOSPICES CAN LOOK AFTER PATIENTS
WITH TERMINAL ILLNESS
Staff and volunteers in hospices strive to offer terminally ill patients freedom from pain, dignity, peace and calm. They also give care and support for their loved ones. This work is endlessly rewarding but also very demanding - professionally and emotionally.
Help the Hospices provides grants, training, education, information and advice to help ensure hospice staff can continue to give high quality care to those facing the end of their life.
We also give voice to the interests, views and concerns of over 200 local charities who provide the majority of hospice care across the UK. We investigate issues, publish reports and briefings and advocate the cause of independent voluntary hospice care in Westminster, Whitehall and in the media.
