Description:Lakeland Arts and Craft house (mentioned in Pevsner, not open) and garden under restoration with help from Tom Attwood of Halecat Nurseries. Returned to the Scheme in 2010 after many years' absence. 4½ acres of formal and informal S-facing terraced gardens with magnificent views of the fells. Many fine trees, rhododendrons and azaleas. Old tennis court has been converted into vegetable/flower parterre to mark the Diamond Jubilee
