Description:This 3½-acre garden surrounds a beautiful C15 house (not open). Separate areas accommodate the sloping landscape, exploiting the stunning views across the Brede Valley to the sea. There is a small wood, wildlife pond and formal pool courtyard as well as a parterre for cut flowers and produce, hydrangea bank, plus many other features, pathways and viewing points
Stunning views towards the sea and over the Brede Valley, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Disability information:Limited wheelchair access, gravel paths and some slopes

Further details:As the garden has developed over nine years exuberant planting within very clear structures has become the main feature. Many plants have been allowed to seed, often in apparently unwelcoming, ground and the gardening is recently focused on limiting these plants rather than growing newcomers. As there are several distinct areas the use of different colour effects has been possible to create different moods
