Description:Mature owner-designed garden by the sea, imaginatively blending traditional Tudor cottage garden with subtropical, Mediterranean and antipodean planting. Unusually designed structures, paths, arches and pond combine dense planting with shady viewpoints and sunny patios. Inter-connecting garden ’rooms’ ensure multiple perspectives and hidden vistas. Great variety of home-grown plants for sale

Further details:The present style of the garden is dense planting to sustain interest, discourage weeds, encourage wildlife and allow for our passion for unusual plants.
Pots at different heights allow for a changing view and give prominence to some. We have a joint love of the garden, enjoying our varied vantage points in which to sit with breakfast or a glass of wine.
The work of the garden is divided between us. Trevor manages the hedges, lawns and the larger pruning jobs and keeps a lookout for new roses and clematis to plant. At the last count there were 85 roses and 30 clematis. Jennie grows and propagates many plants herself and spends countless happy hours planning and caring for the garden.
We love to share our garden with others and do hope that you manage to visit.
