Description:Early C17 house (not open) and walled gardens. Clipped yew and box, lawns, borders and fine views. Vegetables, fruit and poultry in old kitchen garden. Carpet of daffodils in spring. Nearly 100 roses planted since 2008. Various trees both mature and young. Lime avenue planted in 1973 to replace elms
Overlooks farmland, Ems Valley and wooded slopes of S Downs, all in AONB and SD National Park

Further details:Home-made cakes and tea etc. are served in the open garage behind the house, where archive photographs, comments on the garden made by Sir Geoffrey Jellico in 1962, and the recent rose planting plan are displayed
