Be prepared for a very pleasant surprise on arriving. The garden is definitely not what you would expect as you cross the boundary of the property - visitors say 'WOW'! Our garden is 70'x80' and has been landscaped to give the appearance of being much larger. With pond, summerhouse, patio areas with pergolas, 9 silver birches, plus evergreen shrubs, azaleas, rhododendrons and acers to ensure year round colour and interest. Walkways surround the garden to enable easy access for pruning, ideas abound! All of the carpentry, wrought ironwork and designing have been completed by Nigel. This is our 9th year with NGS, and over these years we have made many changes to the garden, most recently having re-landscaped the lawn and created a new seating area. We have also been in many publications including local press and radio. We open in March/April for Spring flowers and heathers, then again later in the year, usually around June. We welcome groups from 4 - 30 people by appointment throughout the season as we really enjoy sharing our haven. We have limited wheelchair access and would appreciate prior notice of this please. We do have indoor seating if the weather is inclement . Along with our friends and helpers, we will do our best to make you feel at home, with tea and home-made cakes on hand. We hope that you will come and join us, thank you. Toilet available on request
