Further details:Experience the warmest welcome for which this garden's owners are well known. Enjoy the transition from the more formal parterre to the woodland character of the garden further on. Interesting trees such as Liriodendron, Embothrium, Cercidiphyllum, Quercus Rubra, Davidia and Cornus abound. There is a new, enclosed rose garden with an established Tulip tree as a centre-piece. The elevated viewing point and the cosy summerhouse are within easy reach of wheel chairs and buggies.
A new, long perennial border has been created where twenty old conifers
once formed a hedge. Clematis and other climbers have also been planted as a back-drop to the perennials. A new, raised-bed vegetable plot has been created on adjacent land and a new hornbeam hedge established.
