Further details:Kempsford Manor is a garden full of interest all the year round, with a lovely display of winter aconites in January, followed by snowdrops (canal walk), then extensive stretches of anemones, daffodils and other spring bulbs in February and March. Then come the tulips. In June we have a display of 200 roses as well as herbaceous borders which are colourful until November.
We often have live music to entertain our visitors as well as outdoor games for adults and children. This year for the first time we will have art exhibitions and painting days on some occasions. (Please ring or check our website). Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic and relax under the fine trees in the garden often watching a cricket game as well. If you would like to picnic before opening hours please ring the door bell.
This is a peaceful garden to relax in and enjoy a beautiful setting.
We have now improved our vegetable garden and will often have organic vegetables for sale. The gardener will also be able to give advice to keen vegateble growers.
We welcome groups of 6 or more from January until end of October for lunch or for tea, by appointment
