Hedingham Castle Grounds Opens for Charity 31/01/2012 Essex get their year underway with an opening at the historic Hedingham Castle on 9th Feb, which first opened for the NGS 85 years ago in 1927. A fantastic garden to visit and a great way to start the new season!
The First Sign of Spring – Snowdrop Walks in Norfolk 23/01/2012 A clear sign that winter is coming to an end is the welcome sight of a carpet of snowdrops. One of toughest and most reliable of garden plants, it is guaranteed to lift the spirits. The NGS in Norfolk has four gardens opening in February and early March where you can see snowdrops at their best.
