The garden has been designed to be productive and charming and planted specifically to attract bees and other pollinators. The potager is entered through an archway covered in honeysuckle. Raised beds of vegetables, fruit and cutting flowers are organised around a central greenhouse and most plants are raised from seeds and cuttings organised from within. There are further arches linking the flower beds with scrambling sweet peas and a rustic trellis built from old apple tree branches covered in cosmos. Multiple seating areas offer delightful views. The summerhouse is fronted by a limestone patio surrounded by purple beds of lavender, erysimum and campanulas. A raised decking area offers a further view across to the cottage garden beds and water feature. A cobbled pathway covered by a pergola with roses and clematis leads from the summerhouse to the back gate.

    Parking
Parking is located at end of lane running alongside Plumtree Cottage (signed High Winds). Parking attendants and signage will direct visitors to field just a short walk from garden entrance.

    Wheelchair access
