A garden with mature fruit trees dating from before 1904 when the house, part of the Cheap Cottages Exhibition, was built. Planted for interest throughout the year, the garden is filled with trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials. A large number of different bulbs makes an additional show in spring. The basic structure of the garden evolved around three circular lawns, one of which was turned into a wildlife pond in 2017 and is very popular with a large colony of newts.
