Formal and informal areas in a woodland setting with herbaceous borders, named hosta collection, mature trees, shrubs and seasonal bedding, gently sloping lawns, statuary and found sculpture. Local limestone rockwork and pools. Woodland walk, indigenous orchids and wildflower meadow. Shade areas and plenty of seating. Croquet, clock golf and garden games. Collection of vintage garden tools and memorabilia in courtyard. Light refreshments and teas. Garden societies or small groups at other times by appointment.
