There are four ways you can help NGS raise even more money for people who are ill or under stress:

1. Visit a garden
2. Make a donation
3. Open your garden or recommend a friend
4. Volunteer for our county team

Visit a garden
There are 3 easy ways to find out when and where gardens are open:
       1. Check www.ngs.org.uk and search by date/ area/garden type, or whatever interests you
       2. Buy The Yellow Book, published every February and available from all good bookshops or direct from the NGS via our website or telephone 01483 211535
       3. Find our quick reference County Leaflets. These guides list gardens in your area. Normally available from libraries, garden centres, tourist offices and bookshops.

Make a donation
Give to NGS and help not just one charity, but many. To make a donation, go to  donate on-line.

Opening your garden
Our local volunteers visit new gardens to talk about what's involved in opening for NGS. They use their experience to ensure that the garden will attract visitors and reward your efforts in preparation..- Open your garden

Volunteering
NGS is run by volunteers based in each county Over 350 people share the fun and the work involved in organizing thousands of garden events. Help and training is given and although knowledge of gardens is always helpful, the main requirement is for good organisational skills and for people who enjoy working as part of a team. Volunteer.

Whatever you do, you can be sure that you are helping to raise millions of pounds for nursing and caring charities. Charities supported.
