Having supported the NGS since 1994, and it's investment managers having more than a passing interest in matters of finance, we thought we should blow a trumpet on behalf of the NGS by highlighting the amount of money it has raised for charitable purposes during the past 16 years. In 2010 the cumulative total rose above £30 million - a remarkable and very worthwhile figure, made possible by the huge amount of voluntary work by the garden owners, which makes these figures a reality.

We are proud to have played our part in enabling this successful fund-raising effort, by supporting this well-respected and revered reference book which both informs and guides its readers to the places of beauty, tranquillity and inspiration that are the NGS Gardens.

It is a source of great satisfaction that this huge total has been achieved during the period of our support. We understand the value of long-term relationships and this is one such example which has demonstrably been a success, and which we are delighted to continue.
